Lee Miller

Head of Sales and Marketing

Lee Miller is the Head of Sales and Marketing for UNSW Global, responsible for developing sales and marketing strategy and driving its implementation.  Lee is a member of the executive team and provides a critical market led input to product development, communications and partnership development.  Championing the voice of UNSW Global partners and students is a key part of Lee’s role and feeding this into each stage of product development is key to the organisations success.

Lee is also the Operational Director of UNSW Global Singapore and Hong Kong, and is responsible for a range of commercial and channel partnerships with leading gobal partner organisations.

Lee started his career as a teacher following study at RMIT in Melbourne, but he quickly moved into management with the National Safety Council (Aviation Rescue) in Townsville. The practicalities of running a large and diverse organisation such as this prompted Lee to further develop his professional skillset undertaking an MBA at AGSM.

This was the stepping stone to a varied and successful career which have included roles as General Manager of API Leisure & Lifestyle, and Director of Operations for Sportsworld, which gave Lee the unique experience of working on the Sydney Olympics in 2000. The combination of a fast moving environment, rapid scaling, inflexible timelines and problem solving marked Lee as an accomplished and agile solution builder.  Lee then joined the Toll Group where he held a number of positions across over 14 years, finally leaving the business as General Manager, Sales and Marketing at Toll Priority & Toll Fast to take up his position at UNSW Global in 2016.

Since joining UNSW Global, Lee has applied his local significant business development experience to the international education sector which is facing complex commercial and market competition.  Lee is passionate about developing his team and promoting the voice of the customer in his search for innovative and customer focused solutions.

Lee is an active reserve member with Maroubra Surf Lifesaving Club.
