Module 2: Selection of assessments for mapping, August 1 (3 PM - 4 PM)
Module 3: Applying the principles of the Hess Cognitive Rigour Matrix, August 14 (3 PM - 5:30 PM)

Term 4
Module 1: Introduction to the Hess Cognitive Rigour Matrix, October 16 (3 PM - 5 PM)
Module 2: Selection of assessments for mapping, October 23 (3 PM - 4 PM)
Module 3: Applying the principles of the Hess Cognitive Rigour Matrix, November 6 (3 PM - 5:30 PM)

Completing Putting rigour into assessment will contribute 4 hours and 30 minutes of NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Registered PD addressing 1.5.2 Develop teaching activities that incorporate differentiated strategies to meet the specific learning needs of students across the full range of abilities; 2.3.2 Design and implement learning and teaching programs using knowledge of curriculum, assessment and reporting requirements; 5.1.2 Develop, select and use informal and formal diagnostic, formative and summative assessment strategies to assess student learning; 6.3.2 Contribute to collegial discussions and apply constructive feedback from colleagues to improve professional knowledge and practice from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
