Teacher assessment literacy

The Assessment Evolution Conference is coming in 2019. Exploring the theme 'Teacher assessment literacy', the conference will provide an opportunity for educators to learn from leading researchers and practitioners in the field. Participants will also have a chance to share their experiences and ideas about assessment best practice with colleagues in roundtable and panel discussions. Join us and be part of the evolution of this key component of education.

Leading educational research suggests that assessment is key to learning. As teaching and learning evolve to meet the needs of modern learners, so too should assessment practices. Current best practice calls for a shift in focus away from measuring achievement to measuring progress. Critical in the future development of education is not only up-to-date pedagogy but also well-informed assessment practices.
